Painting walls?

Going to paint my living room..My rug is baige.......So what colors are good to match the rug.......Painting walls?
Since the carpet is beige, you can use any color you like on the walls and it will be ok with the rug. I would concentrate more on the theme of the room. What type of furnishing do you have? Do you want the furnishings to blend or to pop? If you choose a color that is similar, the furnishings will blend in. If you choose a color that contrasts, the furnishings will stand out more. Remember dark colors will make a room seem smaller and light colors will make it seem bigger. Light colors (especially blues, greens and greys) often make a room feel cool and airy. While midtones or darker colors (such as golds, browns and reds) make a room feel warm and cozy. Paint chips are a great place to start but its sometimes hard to tell what to expect with such a tiny bit of color. One thing I like to do is find something that I like the color of (towel, sheet, blouse, pillow etc.) and look at it like a giant paint chip. Hope these ideas help.Painting walls?
Almost any color will go with beige. That's why they call it a neutral color.
you can't go wrong with any colors when working with beige carpet, but i would pick up color that would highlight other items in the room for example if you have a pillow on your couch you are fond of pick a color out of that, remember all of the walls don't have to be the same color.
blues and reds pick up that color well.
