I have beige walls surrounding my living room. what other color can i paint the main wall where the t.v goes?

so i have beige walls in my living room with white trim. i want to switch the color on the main wall where i have my t.v. what color can i paint this wall that would compliment the beige walls without standing out too much? thanksI have beige walls surrounding my living room. what other color can i paint the main wall where the t.v goes?
Deep red, burgundy, rust or sage compliments beige because of their brown undertones, blend with all contrast colors and ties in with earth tones without

Mocha or gray.

The biggest hurdle will be finding a color that complements your particular shade of beige.

I recommend getting three sample jars of paints you like ( they cost about $4 apiece ). Paint each color on a piece of poster board and tape them up using painter's tape. This gives you a chace to see a large area of the color and it gives you the opportunity to see how the color will look in different light, etc. You can take them down, too, and match them with carpeting, drapes, etc.

I know this sounds like an extra step and you're thinking it's not worth it. It beats speding money on paint, putting forth the time and effort to do the painting and then finding that it isn't the color you thought. Trust me, the wrong paint has put me in tears before.
Since you added the information that you do not want the wall to stand out too much, go 2 shades darker than the current beige and you should be satisfied. You could be a bit more daring though. We just finished a new house, and the walls are a taupe/beige, (white trim). After much consideration, we painted the accent wall, (with a fireplace), a very deep maroon, and it's gorgeous! Added a few maroon accents in the room, and the WOW factor is amazing. Positive comments from everyone who sees it, and at least one couple copied the idea within a week after they saw it. Remember, paint is the easiest mistake to fix. Just paint it again.
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the ';painted'; rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think ';bluebell'; (# 6793) might be a great choice.

You can take a photo of your house %26amp; upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions %26amp; for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
are you going for warm or earthy tones/shades? I would advise a mint-ish green. a green color out of the green spectrum. not like a regular green or lime green, but a more earthy tone green. it looks really good. my close friend just got a new house and they're whole hose is based on earthy tones, a mint green in their room, and in the living room is a green tone above the chair-rail white chair-rail and then the beige/light brown color under neath it looks AMAZING.
Beige is a neutral color and you can paint the main wall any color you want there is no color that wont be complimentary. But if you do not want the wall to stand out too much (having one overly bright wall in a room actually makes it look bigger bty) I would go two but no more than three shades darker in the same beige family.
a sort of toned-down red might look nice-(VERY toned down). Also, if it is an almost-white beige and you are looking for a cloud-like look, a sky blue might be nice. Whatever you do, DON'T do brown. It will drown out all color and make your room look Grey. Try brighter colors that pop that the beige accents will accent perfectly, and make your room look awesome!
what other colour do you have in the living room , for instance curtains ,sofa, pillows?

Let me know and I will help you .
It depends on how much contrast you want. Make sure the colors are in the same tone, but try sage, cranberry, mocha.
