Does the chalk come off easily from chalkboard-painted walls?

I'm interested in getting my wall painted with the chalkboard paint, so I did some research. Some people say it erases fine with a damp cloth, but others say it doesn't erase well or it never looks the same.

SO does chalk come off CLEANLY?Does the chalk come off easily from chalkboard-painted walls?
it depends on what kind you get the more expensive high quality stuff with work better. I do agree that you do have to use a damp cloth but it will come off. A chalkboard eraser doesn't work as wellDoes the chalk come off easily from chalkboard-painted walls?
The better the grade of chalkboard paint, the better the result. Use at least two coats in the application. I would recommend testing it on a scrap of prepared drywall board first (available at any home improvement store). A damp cloth should remove the chalk residue just fine.

Hope this helps!
Get the highest quality paint you can find and prime the surface. Have you considered getting a whiteboard? They clean up easier and some are also magnetic.
