Hi there hon, I'm not young anymore, but something I want to do is literally stencil or paint a HUGE wall mural of Johnny Depp ! Good luck, sweetie.I'm sixteen, I'm going to remodel my room and i need a really creative way to paint my wall . any ideas?
There are so many cool things you can do with a room that just require a little color. It all depends on your style and what colors you like. Are you a girly girl or more of a tomboy? Either way there are neat ideas for every taste. This one is simple, but has class. It's one of my favorites. You can also check out better homes and garden website and look at the different pictures they have for decorating teens rooms. Be bold and don't be afraid to try something totally unconventional! Have fun!
Below is also another website that gives you a lot of cool unique ideas.I'm sixteen, I'm going to remodel my room and i need a really creative way to paint my wall . any ideas?
get really creative get different colors that you like and paint the walls a main color than add big and little circles with the different colors you picked. you could also get some really cool stencils and write your fav.quotes or music lyrics on your walls. what is a really cool effect of your room is get a black light and write with those pens you use with the black lights or glow in the dark paint and have your friends write on your walls it'll be really cool when you're older to see what your friends wrote back in high school. when remodeling a room make sure you like it so you don't have to waste more money to redecorate it. i hoped this helped =]
I personally would love to have a chalkboard wall! Wouldn't that be awesome?
Buy chalkboard paint in a colour of your choice and follow the directions on the can. I suggest you only paint one wall this way. too many chalkboard walls could get messy and overwhelming.
With your one chalkboard wall you could:
- write memos
-jot down any homework
- make a wish list
-write inspirational sayings and quotes
DO WHAT YOU FEEL LIKE!!
Enjoy! Good Luck with your bedroom!
xx
this is totally up to you, what do you like?
do you want to be in the present trend and change again after a few years or would you like to go for something classic and timeless but yet still youthful?
do some research, get some decor magazines, go to a bookstore, there are great painting technique books (check out Debbie Travis Painted House on tv or online), check online whats available too.
Here are a couple ideas
