Generally this is not a problem, so I doubt that any razor scoring will be needed. It'll be hard to get that razor cut straight. Just start pulling the tape off slowly, and see if it leaves a clean line. take a razor blade and lightly score the edge where the tape and paint me and it should pull right off.
