Is it okay to paint walls whilst your foundation is cracked?

The walls are cracked and the house is not getting fixed till October. But I want to go ahaed and paint, I'm worried about what will happen when the cracks come together again. Will it ruin my Paint job?Is it okay to paint walls whilst your foundation is cracked?
The cracks usually happens in corners, seams of the drywall, and the corner beads. First find out if ur missing drywall screws or nails and if so put in some drywall screws and make sure it will go into the wood. This is where the corner beads are, now between the seams get some drywall tape and put a strip on top of the cracks. After apply some joint compound , let it dry and apply some texture depending on the texture either orangepeel or knockdown finish then apply the finish. first I would recomend like using some like spackel you know then painting so your paint wont flake but besides that it should be fine.

i would wait until the foundation is fixed an depending on what the walls are made from you or some one may have to float the seams again with spackle. Its not hard to do just takes time and patience. We recently floated all the seams in our house because wind force gave the house a good shaking.
